<div type="part" org="uniform" sample="complete" part="N" TEIform="div"><head TEIform="head"> The Documentary Edition</head><p TEIform="p">Located at The George Washington University, the First Federal Congress Project is preparing a comprehensive 19 volume edition of the official and unofficial papers of the FFC in the <ital TEIform="hi">Documentary History of the First Federal Congress, 1789-1791</ital> (<ital TEIform="hi">DHFFC</ital>).  Fourteen volumes have been published by the Johns Hopkins University Press to date, including 8 volumes of official records (journals [1-3], legislative histories [4-6], <ital TEIform="hi">Petition Histories: Revolutionary War--Related Claims</ital> [7] and <ital TEIform="hi">Petition Histories and Nonlegislative Official Documents</ital> [8]) and the six volume debates series (<ital TEIform="hi">The Diary of Senator William Maclay and Other Notes on Senate Debates</ital> [9] and 5 volumes of <ital TEIform="hi">Debates in the House of Representatives</ital> [10-14]).   All volumes of the series are available from the publisher, The Johns Hopkins University Press.</p></div>

<div org="uniform" sample="complete" part="N" TEIform="div"><head TEIform="head">Other FFCP Activities</head><p TEIform="p">The First Federal Congress Project also serves as a research center on the First Federal Congress, assisting researchers, the federal government, attorneys, members of the media, and others to research and understand this critically important Congress.  Project staff members have lectured widely on subjects related to the First Federal Congress and taught numerous teacher training institutes and college courses.  The FFCP staff has also published two additional books:
